MA540 and MA126

Our organization is going to starting with GHX soon. We have not been engaged in using EDI vendors or the programs associated with EDI. I was hoping that someone could share how they have their jobs set up in Lawson to run - e.g. MA126, MA540 - parameters and how they are built. I am looking to having these jobs run nightly, but i was hoping someone could provide any insight to the applications. Thank you in advance.

Our IT sets up the job and has them on a job scheduler - so I can't help with parameters - but I do know that we run the inbound at 7:30am and 1:30pm because there were issues at month end with the inbound coming in with a month end date but not beling processed until the 1st of the month.

We also use GHX for EDI orders.. We have scheduled jobs that run at various times for EDI.. MA540 and MA126 run Monday - Friday. Attached is screen prints of the parms for this .. as well as what forms run for our EDI Outbound and EDI Inbound jobs.

I set up inbound ED502/PO122 jobs and outbound PO120/ED501 jobs but we don't schedule MA540. One person in AP runs MA540/MA126 manually around 10:30 am each day.
