Does anyone have any recommendations with contract specials, UOM conversions and requisitioning? Below is an example of contract special pricing set up and issue we are running into.
Example Set Up:
- Contract special item is set up for $500.00 per BX on contract.
- Contract special BX is for 5EA.
- Requester profile is set up to not allow override of contract price.
Issue:
- Requester enters a requisition for the contract special but only wants 1 EA.
- Since the requester is not allowed to override the contract cost, the requisition is entered in as 1 EA at $500.00, which is not accurate pricing for the EA UOM.
We do not want to add each UOM for contract specials to the contract and do not want to allow all requesters to have the ability to override contract costs.
Are there any other organizations that have these same set ups and have come across a solution for contract specials and different UOMs without having to add the different UOMs for contract specials as separate contract lines?
We have entered enhancement request 118831 to request functionality to be added to allow UOM conversions to be added for contract specials.
