How are you using your custom views in Compass for reporting?
Testing, I created a custom view to encapsulate a complex SQL query.
Visible in Data Catalog.
Listed under views in Compass.
Can query it in Compass UI, Compass API through Postman.
Challenge: make the view visible to FSM for self-service reports in Report Catalog for functional staff.

FSM "create report" tool (for Report Catalog): can't see the view
LPL viewer: no search results for the view
Financial Reporting: must choose an existing cube for an ad hoc report
An alternative, IPD could be used with the original query to send reports out on schedule, without the view.
