Anybody know if the Vat Quarter dates can be overwritten in MTD ?

Hi, got a customer in dialogue with HMRC at the moment. When they open MTD the wrong VAT quarter dates are pulled down. They's had this issue before and the HMRC had to resolve but this took over 6 Month's. HMRC have now asked our customer if they can alter the dates manually. I've logged a case with Pegasus but just wondered if anybody else as had to do this already? Thanks Rick

We have had this in the past as well, the customer used custom period dates and HMRC left the standard calendar month periods and the custom periods so they had overlapping periods we spoke spoke to Pegasus support and development and there is no way of selecting another period in Opera it automatically selects the earliest open period, we ended up switching off MTD in Opera and using the old processes and them submitted the VAT returns to HMRC using software which let you select from the list of open periods, and yes it took HMRC nearly a year to resolve the issue with the periods.
