We have a few plans set to have an entry rule of initial enrollment as the first of the month following the employee's hire date. For example, an employee is hired 7/24/2025. Eligibility will create for 8/1/2025. The employee has 75 days to enroll. If this employee submits enrollments on 8/30/2025 and we finalize shortly after, the coverage begin date will create based on the entry rule (8/1/2025).
The problem I'm running into is our summary plan documents state that the coverage will become active on the date the employee enrolls, so in this case should be 8/30/2025. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to accomplish this?
