Good afternoon
Any technical guru's available?
We've a customer with Opera3 SQLSE and XRL which has the Opera3 SQLSE and SQL installed on same server.
They uninstalled Symantec Anti-virus which controlled the rules on their firewall which immediately broke Opera3 SQLSE clients. They are now using Windows Defender.
They turned the firewall completely off which then got it up and running again and then requested which ports they needed to create.
They created the below port rules (both inbound and outbound on the server), turned the firewall back on and this fixed logging into the Opera3 SQL SE client
51999
1433
1434
135
however, it has then transpired users were unable to get logged into XRL.
I got them to check that the 135 port on the Client PC has also been created which it was but still giving an error when trying to connect to
Is there another port that needs created or is there something else at play - my thinking went straight to the new EDR Exclusions which may need enabled?
Appreciate any advice I can give them.
Regards
Claire
