How to convert a Quote Master into an Engineering Master

Is there a way to take a Quote Master and change it into or copy it to an Engineering Master?

The problem is I don't see the point in creating a part with all the steps and processes involved as a quote if I just have to do it all again for engineering. It seems to me they would make a way to just copy one from the other. If they have they didn't make it obvious.

I would appreciate any help on this. THanks!!

CNTRL+F is your friend! Create the E/M with the part id, then hit control f and it will ask you where you want to copy from.

In the manufacturing window, click to create a new engineering master for the part (so all you have is the header card), and then go to Edit/"Copy From" and find your quote master ID. It will pull in all the info you already built into that.
