Unusual Files in the Company Data folder

Good afternoon all,
Looking some help/advise as I have also raised a case with Pegasus and awaiting to hear back from them, but is there anyone out there that has ever came across files in the Opera3 VFP data folder like the below before with the unusual extension and file type .USE ?

Given the arrow icon beside them looks like a OneDrive sync icon (I wouldn't put Opera data files in a OneDrive folder tbh) they might be something to do with that.

If you right click on one of them and select 'Properties' what does it show?

Due to the age of the files I was wondering if they are left over after an upgrade?

Hi Alan, I think it is just showing the one-drive as I brought the backup.zip to my own laptop and unzipped it and grabbed the snip from there - the snip wasn't from their live environment - sorry to confuse things there.

Hi Michelle, yeah I noticed the age of them too but I've supported this customer for many years and have carried out many backups and restores for them and never noticed these before.
Back in July they migrated from AV Webroot to AV Windows Defender which I'm convinced it'll be something to do with that so have their IT looking into it further but just wanted for myself to understand more of what this extension/file type means?

It is only a 2 user site, one user is still on a Windows 10 PC and doesn't have any issues whereby the other one on a Windows 11 laptop is having all sorts of issues - speed, can't update payrolls etc.,.
