Portingset and Windows 64 bit
martin-oichtner
Hello,
don't know if this is the right place for asking this.
We are using ERP LN which runs on Windows Server 2003 and Oracle-DB. However we have some memory problems as the Portingset doesn't support Windows Server 2003 64 bit version and so we are forced to use the Windows Server x86-Version.
Does anybody know when it will be supported ?
Best Regards Bruce

Hi Bruce,
Welcome to the community. You can check the technical notes of each of the porting sets to see what they support (
ftp.support.baan.com/.../port)
. In your case the latest released porting set version is 8.4a.01. This porting set only supports MS2003 64bit and SQL 2005 64bit. However, 8.4b is on the horizon. I don't know exactly if Oracle 64bit will be supported, but if you open an inquiry with support they can get that information from a developer.
I hope this helps.
Regards,
Glenn
