Hi, any ideas on this?
Have you tried changing the Smart Sizing and \or Persistent Bitmap Caching settings on the connection if they are available ?
Thanks Alan, I'll check that with the customer.
Hi Alan, following is the response to your suggestion from the customer:
I’ve been looking into what you suggested, but I cannot find anything that relates to an RDS setup. Only normal RDP connections.
Our RDS setup is set as “Remote Apps”, so it doesn’t give us the option to adjust or change any RDP settings.
Everything is preconfigured from the server, as you only get the application window, not a full desktop.
I queried Copilot, in case it had any Microsoft specific settings, but it only suggested to add a registry key to disable Persistent Bitmap Caching.
I added the registry settings on the server, and also modified a group policy for the clients, but I haven’t seen any change/improvements.
Mike still experienced the issue yesterday, which indicates to me that it did not work.
There are various issues reported with various applications and graphical corruption when displayed via RemoteApp, where the fix is to disable RemoteFX for RemoteApp sessions. That's the only other thing I can suggest I'm afraid.
Thanks Alan, appreciate your help on this
