We are working on standing up Employee Safety and would like for employees to be able to report an injury or illness directly on their own behalf. Right now, we have only been able to find where a manager or member of the admin team can create an employee injury/illness. For example, if a nurse had a needle stick, or a housekeeper fell on a wet floor while cleaning, we would like for those employees to be able to create an injury report on their own. In addition, if someone had the flu over the weekend and is scheduled to work on Monday, we need them to report the illness.
Has anyone developed a way for staff to report an injury or illness on their own, without going to a leader for submission? If so, would mind sharing how you did it?
