Documentation for operation scheduling precedence.

I understand that in one of the next versions (7.0 or 7.1) Visual will be capable of setting scheduling precedence within work order operations. Can someone please tell me which version and point me to any documentation as to how it works/functions? We are currently at 6.5.4 and considering upgrading later this year and in serious need of this capability.
