Hi, customer has 2016 Opera server which had 2.99.13 installed on it from last year.
We came to upgrade them to 3.02.01, but the install asked for a path!
We checked the Registry and this is definitely the Opera server. Checked Control Panel and found that the entries in Programs for both server and client are missing.
So, we renamed the Opera3 folder to Opera3-old, and tried installing 2.99.13 from scratch. However, it added the Opera3 folder and the data folder but nothing else. No files or any other folders.
I'm thinking, we need to add or remove entries in the registry to get this working.
We are stuck. We can't install the original version to upgrade them from.
Any ideas anyone please?
