Antivirus Solution

I notice that there are a number of issues around Pegasus products and various antivirus products. What A/V are people recommending these days? We have recommended Symantec for a long time now but since the change to Endpoint it has become more of a beast and the footprint seems to be growing with each new version.

To be perfectly honest for a small company I wouldn't bother with anything more than Microsoft's MSE. Very light, very integrated into Windows, and free. The only downside is you can't manage it centrall and it doesn't protect the border, i.e. Exchange and incoming internet. Otherwise all I see in the wild is Symantec and McAfee and I hate them both equally! Especially Endpoint Protection because you can only configure it via a web interface and nobody ever knows what the password is.
