Upgrade from Opera 3 V2.24 to V2.25

Hi All,
I was upgrading from 2.24 to 2.25 and got a Windows Installed Error.
When getting back into Opera I get the following message :
" Cannot find Server Release Information :
( Server NameO3 Server VFPPegrel.txt )

I know I have seen this before and fixed it but cant find my notes. Any help would be appreciative.

Hi Dermot,
Had the same problem last week.
Check Server VFP Static & Dynamic - there should be a pegrel.txt in there.
My customer had a virus which corrupted all files in this folder, restored to a backup and all worked.

hi presume the pegrel.txt is in the directory..
if not get a copy in there and see if that fixes

Hi,
Think it's a damaged client. I usually uninstall then run client setup again. Copying the pegrel from the server could leave other components unregistered.

Hi Dermot

Also check the registry entries for the correct path to the latest version installed.
Registry : Hkey_Local_MachineSoftwareWow6432Node(if 64bit OS)PegasusO3 Client VFP and O3 Server VFP System.

Please check that the all the paths in here are correct and also the Version is the correct number.
