Fax Integrator SMTP question

We are trying to have access to outgoing emails and receive notification of bounced and failed emails.
Fax Integrator uses SMTP to send emails but I was told by INFOR that some clients have rerouted the emails from SMTP to the exchange server, so if anyone has done this please let me know how you completed this?

On the mail tab of the servers tab in the fax integrator, there is a spot for the address for the from address for the email. You should set this value to an actual email address on your system and the bounce messages will go there.
