PO100 and duplicate POs

Has anyone else experienced multiple POs being created when PO100 is ran?
If so what have you found to be the cause...any input would be helpful.

This happened to us with ValueLink. We eventually applied patch CTP77946, although it had stopped making lots of one line POs by then.
It still makes a couple separate POs that should be combined, but not every day, and the large number of multiple one line POs has not reoccurred.
When the multiple POs were happening, they would come from one req, which was processed by one EDI job. It looked like after the PO was created, it didn't go back and mark the req as having been put on a PO.

Thanks a bunch! Good information ...You mention that by the time the patch was installed that the multiple POs subsided a bit...by chance did you guys change any settings on the PO100 job before the patch was installed??? Any processes different?

No - once again the computer was NOT logical. No process changes, no parm changes on PO100. The buyer said she didn't change the way she does these, either.
