RQC implementation - consulting recommendations
eokoth
We are looking for a proven consulting company to implement RQC. We currently use RQC for one facility with a custom approval flow. However, we need to re-engineer the custom approval flow to mirror the enterprise signatory policy. We want a consulting company that has done many implementations and would provide the resources for Process Flow design, RQC best practices including education and training for the enterprise implementation. Let me know who you would recommend. Thanks!

Keep in mind you will have to convert to Process AUtomation when you upgrade to Lawson 10. I can't recomend any consultants, since we created our own approval flows with our internal Lawson Developer.

I agree with the posting above. If you need to be trained on ProcessFlow then get to a release that you can apply Process Automation and invest in that installation and training rather than the current PFI. I believe you need to be at 9.0.1.9 environment to use that and RQC 10.x. Also I built most of our flows internally. I think you would be better off going through the Lawson training and build it yourself rather than look for a consulting company.

Hey Karen - I may be able to help. We just implemented RQC with about 200 new users located in about ten different small clinics. We held face to face training classes, video training, and have documentation. We also just created a req approval process flow which is near release for the organization, but the structure hasn't stabalized yet. I can have my boss contact you if you'd like. Our current project is winding down so now may be a good time for discussions. My boss can share details about our experience and give references. Thanks!

I will also echo the posts prior, I would focus on Process Automation as it is the future direction and would hate for you to invest in updating the PFI flow for Req approval and then have to reinvest time and effort into it again when you convert it to IPA. Our Req approval flow is the most comprehensive one we have for options, approval levels, etc. and it did convert but need a good deal of work to get it running properly in IPA.
That being said, we have a solid team in place that can handle flow updates like this internally, so I would also recommend having someone attend training to be able to troubleshoot and fix issues you have.
When it comes to recommendations I think Lawson, Hybridge and Ciber have quality people that I have worked with in the past but personally, whenever I have process flow questions I reach out to David Williams or Adam Goldstein at AVAAP. There is a lot of good people in this space that should be able to help you out.

We have used HyBridge in the past and have been extremely satisfied. They have helped us with our processflows/process automation for both RQC and MSS. Highly recommended.

I would also highly recommend HyBridge Solutions. Highly knowledgeable in Supply Chain and HR and PFI/PA. They did our Crystal Reports and PFI training. Josh Wilson was the consultant that helped us build a flow for a bi-directional interface between Lawson and our Cath Lab system. We recently used HyBridge to upgrade MSCM and LBI to v.10. And I believe they are highly involved in our LTM implementation.
