Getting Runtime Error 521 - Can not open clipboard when excel loads
Can't close Excel have to End Task

Works fine if Vision Add in removed

Tried setting permissions and turned DEP off
Also tried setting Trusted Locations

has anyone come accross similart issues or any ideas to resolve?

Hi John
There are three workarounds I have found that appear to work but one works for some but not others.

1. This error is most common if remote connections are in use. If so try running local on teh PC
2. Try loading Opera II, then launching Excel. Often this gets the addin working
3. Failing that if you get the 521 error regardless of the above, cancel it (or whatever the option is). Once into Excel close it fully and often you will get a "micorsoft has had an error". Close this. Relaunch Excel and the add in will then often load.

The error is not applicable to all sites and am unsure what causes it at present.
