Da Vinci Reposable Instruments
Legacy Contributor
Our hospital recently purchased a Da Vinci surgical system. The instruments are purchased by the each and are reusable for a predetermined amount of uses.
I've built the item files for reposable instruments, but am unable to get a per use cost to interface into our surgical system.
Has anyone had any luck building item files to interface to their surgical system with the per use cost?

sliesse - we have our items built with USE as the lowest UOM and EA as the buy UOM (10 use/ea). This allows the price to be broken down to the USE for the interface.

That makes sense! I had originally built all items as an EA, then tried adding USE UOM after the fact.
I will rebuild my files before the interface runs this afternoon and check the surgical system afterwards.
Thanks much!
