ERPLN Connection Issues

Hi

I would like to know if anyone has experienced the following issue and if so did you find a resolution to it or would I be best opening an inquiry with AMS.

Basically remote users are having intermittent connection problems using worktop client.

Worktop after reporting for over 1 minute ‘connecting to server…’ gives me the following messages:

1 : recv() failed: error 10054
2 : rexec failed on host '192.168.20.25' port 512, username '******'. Failure executing ipc_boot binary in '/ssaERP3/bse'
3 : Error : bw failed to connect to 192.168.20.25!bshell

Also, while it was trying to connect, we could ping the server normally, so it was not a physical network or line issue.

On a second try connection was succesful.

I can find nothing wrong network wise but inhouse users are have no problems.
Any ideas would be appreciated.

While doing a ping will tell if the server is up, if you use trace route, that will tell you if you have a failure at some point in your network configuration. You can do this from a cmd box. We send our end users instructions on how to run the command and then snapshot or copy / paste the results back to us.
