0.01 qty on SOP delivery notes

Has anyone come across this before.....

clients have raised around 200 delivery notes in SOP. On some of them, they have added a line for postage/carriage with no stock ref & a sales value etc.

When they go back to view these, a handful of them have had the qtys changed from 1.00 to 0.01, meaning that the sell value has been changed. There is no rhyme or reason to this & out of 200, theres only 5 instances & it appears to be when theyve added in this carriage line....but on some, identical ones its fine

They dont do consolidation of invs eiether

Any ideas?

Yes we have had this before and as you have said couldn't see what was causing this, although we did think it was down to foreign currency and number of decimals. We ended up creating them a stock code for carriage and they now use this instead of description only lines.

If you look in itran you will see the foreign decimals field will be a mixture of 2 and 3 which causes the issue but as to why this changes we never pin pointed.

we also reported this to pegasus,
seems to happen when you insert desc only lines it sometimes picks up the first profile in cfact, despite not being a stock item.
for our customer we have set up a profile in cfact as the very first record to have 2 price and qty decimal places to see if this alleviates the issue

yes! my customer has a 4dp profile on a stock item, and it sometimes leaves an os qty of 0.0001 so we can never complete the document. The items are to do with describing Carriage methods

HI both, many thanks for the replies. Ive already created the stock ref for carriage, so hopefully this will help, but I hadnt thought of the profiile! Ill givet his a go & fingers cross.
