Inventory Barcode

We have been using the Labor entry barcode system and it has made a difference. We would like to move foward and use the Inventory portion of barcoding. Does anyone have any info to share on starting it up? Also whats the best scanner to purchase for this?

We have DTResearch tablets and have had nothing but trouble. Wasted a lot of time and money trying to figure out our problem. Visual Business Solutions recommended the Motorola MC9090-G, WLAN 802.11 A/B/G, standard range 1D. It has been in use now for 4 days and we LOVE IT! We have another one on order and will replace all our tablets by year end. Good luck.

Our company uses Motorola MC9090-Gs, a Motorola WS-2000 switch, and Motorola AP-300 access ports for our warehouse. The warehouse software is developed in VS.Net. For managing the MC9090s, we use Mobicontrol which allows us to remotely add/update software packages and connect to the units etc.
As far as hardware goes, the Motorola parts have worked nicely for us. The custom software is custom software. Mobicontrol works nicely for it's intended purpose.
