At our organization we frequently have a single PO for a vendor that contains multiple ship to locations such as STORE and CS. Both of these ship to locations are set up with the same address and are shipped to the same receiving dock at our facility. We would like the receiver to be able to open the PO in PO Receiving and complete a receipt for all lines, despite the multiple ship to locations on the lines, and then have the materials delivered to their location. However, in the PO Receiving application you are prompted to enter a receiving location after you enter the PO number. Based on the location you choose only those lines with the same ship to appear with all of the necessary line information needed to complete the receipt (bin location). The other lines appear on the screen, but require you to manually add bin locations for each item. In this situation you would receive all items from one location then go back into PO Receiving and enter the other location and receive those items. This is redundant and problematic with for the receiver and we just went live with RAD. Does this strike anyone as odd or is there a way around it? The ship to locations are set up in IC02.1/IC12.1 and this occurs on all item types. I understand how it might be to prevent receiving on items from another location, but one PO should be able to be received by one person. I have a case open with Infor right now, but does this smell like a bug to anyone or does anyone have experience with this? Sorry for the short story here....
