Export Vendor Part ID to Excel
Legacy Contributor
Hello,
In Visual Manufacturing 6.5.2, I've run into a problem were new parts have been set up with the Vendor Part ID defaulted to the Part ID and the user did not change it to the actual Vendors Part ID in the Vendors Supplying Part window. Consequently when our receiver goes to receive the part against the PO the Receive screen only shows Vendor Part ID which is now the same as our Part ID and he has no reference to the actual part number. As I don't know how many times this occurred in our system I want to export our entire parts list to Excel for sorting. I've tried doing it from Part Maintenance but the Edit Columns function does not contain the Vendor Part ID.
The other thing I tried was to set up the Receive screen with the MFG ID, but it also does not have that column in the visible/hidden selection window.
Can anyone help me with this please.
Dave

Dave,
Try going thru the material planning window.

Thank you for the response, but I don't see what I'm looking for in the MP window. Can you elaborate?
