Stock Item Usage History Reporting
Legacy Contributor
Hi,
We are interested in what other facilities are using for pulling stock item usage history information. We are looking into IC220 as well as custom SQL scripts but are weary of the accuracy of the information.
How do you feel about IC220? Are others using custom scripts to pull information for usage history?
Thanks

John,
Our inventory master analyst uses IC283 and IC285 which uses the RQTrans table. I believe he has setup IC groups to run various par locations at a time. I have also used the RQTrans table, since it pulls Issues, Receipts, Req Returns, and Receiving Adjustments. I have used Add-Ins and SQL queries. The data does need to be reviewed carefully. My challenge has always been on the reporting aspect. This month we used 200 eaches and 10 boxes of an item. Makes it interesting.

I almost always use IC220 for inventory usage history. It really has everything I need. Our staff does department credits in IC21, we don't use RQ35.

Thanks for the feedback Victoria and Jon.
In the IC220 report, have you noticed any discrepancies regarding the "off acct unit" inforamtion?
What we have seen is that when we set the IC220 report up with an account unit restriction (ex. 88240), the report will pull all inforamtion for that account unit, however, it will also pull information for account units not associated to the 88240. And, the lines in which it returns, it does not provide an "off acct unit" value, it's blannk. The only value returned is the "from to location". Has anyone seen or ran into this before?

I can provide an example if that would help.

Yes please provide an example. I've not seen that when I run IC220.

Here is an example of what we see when we run the IC220. Thanks
The fields highlighted in red are the ones we have questions about. The From To Locations are not associated to our particular 88240 cost center. However, they are still getting pulled into the report.

Sorry, here is the file.

So the AU and account shows for req loc 66FS but not the other req locs. Is there something those other req locs have in common different from 66FS? I can't think of any way to set up Lawson that would have this result. It's probably some that will need a patch which means opening a case with Infor.
