We are in the processing of upgrading from 9.01 to 10.0.6, upgrading security, and moving from Unix to Windows all in one large project. In our current 9.0.1 Unix environment, the WH130 pick/delivery tickets are set up on a Unix CRON sever to run every 7-8 minutes. This set up was created so long ago, none of the current support team knows why the Unix CRON was used, rather than using recdef. Now that we are moving to Windows, we are trying to determine if recdef will be able to handle the load, and each WH130 complete within the 7-8 minute window before the next job needs to begin. One consultant suggested using tokendef, however, we are not familiar with tokendef. If you have already upgraded to v10, are you using recdef to run and print the WH130 pick tickets, or are you using tokendef? Are you using something other than recdef or tokendef to manage the WH130 schedule, if so what are you using? Any information you can share regarding this issue would be greatly appreciated.
