New FACTS 7.7.1 Demo and Unform 8.0

Has anyone installed the new demo and tested the archiving/library feature of Unform? Unform 8 has a totally different main web page for browsing libraries (which doesn't seem to work). I also tried to archive my own example and then use the 'Archived Pick' button in doc inquiry. The image comes up but the image portion in the middle of the web browser only displays about 1 inch of the actual image and it doesn't appear that you can resize that window.

I have been able to get the UnForm DAM functionality working; however, I have subsequently undated my 7.7 demo and have not reset it up for UnForm. If you like I can send you the FACTS upgrade instructions I have developed for FACTS 7.7 systems. There are a number of UnForm guidelines I follow on this document. Hi Rob,

UF8 works great on my laptop. Browsing certainly works - although the interface options are slightly different. You need to check out the new "One Doc" method of locating a specific document as well. As for the image, your PDF browser controls that. I get a page height optimized image that I can expand if desired.

To get t to work I had to delete the existing Unform license key before the demo activation would work in Unform 8 Server manager. It's in the installation doc, but it is not obvious that the existing license key needs to be deleted.

DAM works for me. I confirmed order 001627 and printed the invoice, (it assigned # 001928). Went to URL localhost:27272/arc, used the OneDoc access and it created the new doc type "Invoice", (there wasn't any archived invoices when I started). Plugged in the invoice number and it pulled it right up.

What I don't like, using Firefox, is that Unform Archive opens up so many new windows, especially if you try to navigate to the document not knowing the number ahead of time.

One the plus side, the link from FACTS works great. It doesn't open up a new window in Firefox, just a new tab and places the focus on that tab.
