DataMatrix barcode in Crystal Reports

We are trying to use a DataMatrix barcode on our supply labels. From what I've researched we need to purchase a third party software/font to use this ibarcode in Crystal rpts. Is anyone using a DataMatrix barcode (looks like a square)? If so, which vendor did you use or did you find something else to make it work?

We are using BarTender which works really well.

It looks like BarTender makes it easy to create labels and can access databases. However I want to use it in an on demand crystal report. Are you doing anything like that? What I've seen is a 'barcode font' that turns your data into a barcode and print on the report/lable/etc...

We are using IDAutomation code 128 fonts and Crystal Reports exported to Word for par item and location labels.

Ah, IDAutomation...that's what I've been researching. Thanks, that's what I wanted to know. Now I just need to figure out what licence we need ;-)

We got the developer license so we could use it in other instances (like RX) if needed. We print to any laserjet printer using weatherproof labels (more expensive) but no smudging. Then they use another kind of label for our kanban labels so chemicals won't deteriorate them.
