Unform pdf issue with latest Adobe Reader version
jeff-christie
Just a heads up to everyone, apparently with the latest Adobe viewer version 11.0.10 that came out last week, something changed where you can get error messages in Adobe when trying to save and possibly print an Unform generated document that you are viewing in Adobe. According to Allen, it's in the encoding of any logo you may have on a form, particularly if you used their image conversion utility to generate the logo. Also, it just seems to be with black and white logos, not color. SDSI has reported this to Adobe. If you're on the SDSI mailing list or subscribe to their unform google group you can see more on this.

Errors on save or print in Adobe Reader 11.0.10
Modified on: Fri, 9 Jan, 2015 at 7:30 am
The day this version of Acrobat Reader was released, there were numerous reports of problems saving or printing UnForm generated documents from that product.
After research and testing, we found that Reader 11.0.10 had a new bug related to a certain type of black and white image (specifically, one encoded with CCITT Fax compression). The error and a sample were reported to Adobe, who acknowledged the bug, so we anticipate it will be corrected at a future update by them.
As the error is related to a type of black and white image, you can work around it by changing to a color image for your PDF output. If the current image was generated using our website image conversion utility, you can re-create an image of the same name, specifying a color version, and swap out the color image for the black and white image on disk, at least until Adobe corrects the problem.
