Pvx 6.2 Webserver issue on Windows 2008 Server

We have a customer that was running Facts 7.5 on Windows 2003 and the Server had network issues that required moving it to a new machine. The new server is Windows 2008 64-bit. Facts works fine, but we are having intermittent issues with a website interface to Facts that uses the Providex webserver and API toolkit. It processes about 40,000 requests per day and was working fine on the old server. On the new server, the website intermittently times out, but I can't find any corresponding failures in the webserver logs or xml logs in Facts. It's almost as if they are not making it to the webserver, but apparently they are. Does anyone have this version of webserver running on a newer version of Windows successfully? Any ideas what to check?
