Customer looking for a solution for the above, i know it is possible with XRL, however i think there will be a lot of work involved. He is mentioning S*g* Winforecast as a solution, has anyone seen anything else that is suitable or got a solution for opera II ?

You could do it in QlikView, again there would be a fair amount of work up front.

Try OpenPlanning from Advanced Business Solutions. It's similar to Cognos but much cheaper.
