We are issued materials on jobs that are free issue or customer furnished so they do not hold a value in VISUAL. Currently we manage these separate from VISUAL on a spreadsheet. We would like to manage this material within VISUAL but are unsure how to do it. The materials that are free issue are not usually raw materials but rather other finished components of a larger system, i.e motors and valves. They are unique to a specific job so there are no second uses for the material. What we want to do is be able to track this material from receipt to incorporation into the final product without adding value as the material is never actually owned by us. Does anybody do something similar and how do you do it? We are on VISUAL Mfg 7.2.1
