IPA Inbasket display

We are moving from PFI on 9.0.1 to IPA on 10.0.8 and the new Inbasket that is accessible from the Lawson Portal has many features; My Tasks, My Requests, My Proxies, My Work, My Actions, and Options.  Most of these features won't be useful to our end-user managers and our lighter-use back office users who typically don't use the Portal except to respond to work flow tasks assignments and will just cause confusion and frustration. 

Is there a way to restrict some of these features?  Is there any way to provide a simpler My Work page, if so, how?  What are other customers giving to their end-users for an Inbasket?  Any suggestions will be very welcome as we can't roll out like this.  Thanks!

Hi Barb,



You can use the configuration console to restrict the pages you don't need to use. In order to do this you will have to go into Rich Client and follow these steps:

1. Go to the start menu > Configure > Application

2. Select Menus from the side bar and search for "ProcessFlowMenu" and click OK

3. Right click on any of the menu options you wish to hide, and select "Delete Menu Item"



There is also a concept of creating custom inbaskets for tasks. If you wanted to display different information based on a task, this would be a good option for you to do. More information on this and how to set it up can be found here:
