AGS Call to GL45.1 causes IPA workunit to go to "canceled" status

I have a IPA flow that makes a AGS call to GL45.1 to unrelease a journal entry. The AGS call to GL45.1 to unreleased the JE completes successfully but no other nodes after the AGS call are executed and the status of the workunit goes to "canceled".

I tried debugging using the desktop IPA designer and it does not have the same issue i.e. the remaining nodes execute successfully and the flow finishes without an issue.

I don't see any errors in grid, any of the LSF logs or lps log on landmark.

Has anyone had seen an issue like this with S3 AGS calls?

On your Transaction Node, check to see what is set On Error tab. It sounds like it may be set to Stop Process and that there may be an issue with the call. If this is the case change the flag to Custom log and rerun to see if you can capture the error.

I did check this setting and it is set to "continue process..." However keep in mind the AGS call does not get an error, it completes normally.

I did find out what was causing this issue. I'll pass along in case it helps anyone else.

After more digging in the logs I found in the LSF $GENDIR/bpm/WFAPI log (see KB 1652340 to set this up) that taking the unrelease action in GL45 cancels the workunit. Here is the information from the log. Note the "setting the status to 1..." below
