Fill/Kill Notification tool

Good afternoon,

 

I was wondering what other facilities are using to notify end-users/customers if an item is killed or on backorder?  Is there a process that can be built into the system that will notify the requester?

We have the backorders and kills print on the WH130s so they can see them. I know the WH module has some process flow triggers, but we do not utilize them here.
