Web Client 8.3 windows authentication prompting for windows credentials

I've set up windows authentication which is working - with the exception that the windows credentials prompt still comes up. Entering the domain user credentials (not Infor CRM user) works and logs the user in so I'm assuming I've set everything right in Infor. Is there something I'm missing in IIS or windows settings?

In internet explorer, there is a setting in internet options to prevent this prompt and to instead use the currently logged in user's credentials. Go to the cog in the top right corner of the browser, and go to internet options. Next, go to security, and click the custom level button. In here, scroll right to the very bottom, and see the setting that is called "Log on". Change the selected radio button to the second or third one down (one of the automatic log on ones - depending on your setup). This should stop the prompt. It is a machine specific setting so all users may have to change this.

No problem. That setting apparently cascades into chrome as well so it should stop the prompt there too.
