Upgrade IPA

We are upgrading our environment.  We are currently on version 10.0 for IPA.  We will be going to LSF 10.0.9.  I see that version 11 is permissible for that version.  Would it be better to go to 10.1 or 11?  I remember seeing a KBA for the various fixes by CU for 10.1, but I do not remember the KBA.  Is there one for 11?

Are you asking:

What the advantages of going from IPA 10 to 11

or

Have the fixes from IPA 10.1 been applied to IPA 11?

or both?



For our use, there are several additional nodes that are available for use in IPA 11 and additional Landmark node options that prompted our move to IPA 11. Using just ISA for user admin is a definite plus.



The downside is that we have also learned we need more memory -- no biggie, memory is (relatively) cheap. Also, re-federation is (going to be) a pain point.



Fixes: make sure you're very current on CTPs, the upgrade needs 'em.
