We are upgrading from 7.1.2 which uses Gupta Runtime 5.2 to Visual 9 which uses Runtime7.0. Has anyone done this without having to re-write the report overrides that Infor recommends?
The Knowledge Base article 1407432 has steps for older Gupta but they worked for us.
Note: If the reports were 7.0.0 Sp2 or Sp1 or baseline before, the reports should work fine after the above noted steps. If the reports were from 6.5.4 or earlier, then each report should be tested after performing the report update steps, as the usual fix for any that don't update properly is to re-copy the standard QRP and modify it again. Sometimes the extended queries don't work after the update from previous versions and the only workaround is to remodify the QRP report. Remember to click on Save after performing every Compare and Match to Standard.
