What department and position in your organization maintains the Patient Price changes in PC10?

Do you load non-patient chargeable supplies in PC10?  We use EPIC. 

How often do you update this? Have you found a way to automate the price change process?

Looking for some best practices on Processing Patient Charges in PC10, PC08, PC120.

When we were using PC10, we only loaded EAP to PC10, Epic HB calculated the pricing as a markup based on the average cost being passed to the Epic modules in the interface.



Yes, we loaded a non-chargeable EAP to PC10 as needed. There were two sets (Supply/Implant)- one to appear on the bill as $0 charge and one not to appear on the bill at all.



As the pricing wasn't being calculated by Lawson, when we went to v10 we moved the EAPs to IC11 and got rid of the PC10s.
