Moving workunits to history via IPA

I am pretty new to IPA and am wondering if anyone has moved work units to history by using IPA.

Yes, IPA allows you to move workunits to "History". This really just changes the workunit's category so that it is no longer displayed in the primary Workunit List view. Instead, you have to go to the Workunit History List view. No other data is changed.

Hi,
we are using LPA version 10.0.4.0.
we want to delete all failed transaction / workunits as well as workunits which are in processing state. is there any automated way to do that or any automated scripts for that.
Kindly advise.
