LID commands in processflow

I am planning on automating the LSA and Jobs tasks. We manually do a LID session and use the commands lsdump, jobdump and deljobhst. It seems the only way is using the Sys Command node. Is there another way? Thanks

The SysCmd node is the only way I know of.

I tried it just now and am getting "Command output (combined): 'lsdump' is not recognized...". The reason I think is that lsdump is in S3 Lawson server while the SysCmd is at the Landmark server.

Additionally the Lawson environment needs to be set.

You'll have to use a Configuration on the sys command node. One that uses the SysCmd tab. For us, we're on Unix on a different server from our IPA. So we have a Configuration called UnixServer. On the Sys Cmd tab, we have a record where lsf web/rmi root = rmi://<LawsonServer>:16003 and user = Lawson.

If you're unix, you'll also want to make sure the Execution mode is Korn Shell.

in case your S3 and Landmark run on UNIX , you can use a 3rd party tool like Putty or CRT to do a unix login to the account and software, and unix job crontab runs various commands (like DELJOBHST) providing a full path is helpful and setting environment variables.

Thanks. We are in windows both S3 and Landmark. The System Command Connection in the Landmark Configuration are all empty. I am creating a new Configuration now. Being so new to ver 10, I am afraid to add this to the Main Configuration which I was told by the consulting company not to touch it (well until I am no longer a newbie to Landmark at least).

Maybe (for now at least) don't touch what is already out there, but certainly don't be afraid to add anything to Main. We have the SysCmd tab filled out in Main. No reason to have to change your configuration value every time you want to use a SysCmd node!
