Visual users that are using Power BI as a reporting tool

We have just started using Power BI as our reporting tool for Visual. I am wondering if anyone else is using Power BI with Visual and how is it working for you? I would love any advise on this subject.

Are you pulling your data directly from Visual or are you using a data warehouse?

95% of the reports pull from the visual database directly using the power bi gateway. A few reports have a scheduled ETL process to capture planned work so we can capture point in time information and see planned work completion vs work that wasn't planned.
