Branch Expression Error

I'm getting an error when adding a Req Location with a letter in it. I can add REQINFO_REQ_LOCATION == 83100, but not REQINFO_REQ_LOCATION == 8310R. What do I need to add to the expression that IPA will accept?

REQ_LOCATION is a string, not a number, so you should be surrounding the values with quotes.

Your JavaScript is assuming the Req Locs are numeric values. You should use quotes around each value (and not just the last one).

The requesting location field by default is alpha 5. Did you try enclosing the choices in double quotes?

It is failing on the 4th expression because there is a mix of numeric and alpha characters on that line. The first three it's going to do a type conversion comparing your string to your integer. If one of those values starts with a 0 and contains no 9s java will convert to an octal and not match.

Since all variables coming from Req Approval service are strings you should follow Kelvin's suggestion and encase all values in ""; that will make the error go away and will work as it appears you intend it to.

I tried this but it now directs all requisitions to use this branch.

The string you are matching needs the quotes:

i.e.

REQINFO_REQ_LOCATION == "83000" ||

REQINFO_REQ_LOCATION == "83100" ||

REQINFO_REQ_LOCATION == "83200" ||

REQINFO_REQ_LOCATION == "8310R" ||

REQINFO_REQ_LOCATION == "8310T"
