Opera.exe has stopped working

Hello,

I'm hoping someone might be able to help!

We have a couple of customer's on separate sites reporting an intermittent program error 'Opera.exe has stopped working'. This seems to happen randomly, sometimes twice a day, some days not at all.

We've checked the normal things i.e AV, Permissions, Reinstalling the client, Windows updates but we still haven't been able to resolve it.

When Opera crashes it creates an error in the event viewer for application crash and a WER file but it doesn't appear to hold much information about the actual cause.

Is anyone else having reports of this or any suggestions on what we can try?

It's not the known issue where this happens when launching CRM or Helpdesk, due to them being external EXEs, and you have to exclude them from Windows DEP by any chance?

Sorry I should have been more specific, neither of the customer's have CRM. We've seen it appear in a number of places in financials e.g

Sales > Reports > Turnover > Select Ok to criteria > Publish to screen > 'Opera.exe has stopped working'
