Operating Visual 7.0.0 on Windows 10

Is there anyone out there running Visual 7.0.0 or earlier on Windows 10? If so, are you having any issues?

We upgraded in August to 9.0.4, but prior to that yes when windows 7 installed some updates Visual stops working. We had to roll the machines back to get them going again.

Did you mean to say "when Windows 10" instead of windows 7 installed some updates? I have seen that issue in many blogs.

Either go get the iso image (preferred) by following the instructions here: sihmar.com/.../ (you have to put your browser in device mode to see the iso download and that link tells you how). Or, Charles Hooper has a white paper on this issue under 1709. You have to use the 32-bit Compatibility Administrator from the Windows 10 1709 SDK. If you want to email me at chandler@majortool.com I will send you his ducument. You build a compatibility database containing each of the programs you run and then you have to push it out to each of the clients. It is not the easiest way to do it but it was all their was before 1803 came out. As far as I can tell (on 7.1.2) 1803 fixed the issues for us.
