I just wanted to see if anyone else came across this issue and to let you know the problems it caused.
I recently installed Opera 3 Version 2.52 for a New Client. They wanted to import in Purchase Transactions from their previous Software, but after I formatted the ptran and panal , I was getting an error ( Rec 1 Error 1234 in openimportfiles ).
I contacted Pegasus and they said that this was a known issue and was fixed in version 2.53.
However this was where my problems started. When doing the upgrade from 2.52 to 2.53 I got the " Error 1316. The specified account already exists".
This was during the Server Upgrade ,and it would not complete. I tried to do a few fixes etc. and also re-ran the upgrade but all failed.
I have gotten this issue a few times on various sites since then, and I also got the same issue when upgrading on my own laptop to version 2.53.
To fix the issue Pegasus told me to completely remove Opera 3 from the Server and then reinstall. This has added a lot of down time to the clients and also added .
I just wanted to let yea know of this issue in case you come across it yourselves or have a quicker fix to this error.
