Visual MFG to SalesForce Integration

Does anyone actively have Visual MFG connected to SalesForce? We had a recent visit from SalesForce Sales and Integration team and they swear we wont have any problems integrating (I have my doubts). Looking to speak to anyone who has any experience with Visual and SalesForce, both past and present. Thanks in advance.

We have it integrated, just pushes the data in to Salesforce. Salesforce does not talk back to the visual Database.

Do you have it setup as a one-way push by your choice or is that the only way Salesforce functions? There integration partner was discussing creating customers and sales orders in Salesforce and pushing them into Visual which frightens me.

We are using a bridge from Commercient. To this date, the sync have been one way only. We are planning on having the 2 way sync in 2019 as well as importing the forecast from Salesforce to Visual.

Yes. We run Visual with a Microsoft SQL database and you can import / query (export) the data into these CRM packages automatically using a number of database synchronization tools. Zapier is the one we are using with Zoho CRM but you can search Google and find other database synchronization providers that will keep your SQL database sharing data with your CRM tool (example: Skvia, etc).

There is always Infor Back Office Connect, which integrates VISUAL to Salesforce, syncing customers and contacts, with a push from VISUAL to CRM for all quotes, sales orders, shipments, and invoices.
