XRL - Problem found in Module AlchemyControlTags

Hi,

As anyone seen this/know a fix for.

Windows 7 Pro

Office 365 - new install, but used download to get the oldest available (1808)

logs in to Infor Q&A ok the when trying build an XRL formula (Detail Report etc) this error occurs

Also getting this error message, Windows 10 Pro office version (1808).

It looks like this may be related to the known "The VBScript files MSSCRIPT.OCX and VBSCRIPT.DLL may have been unregistered" problem.

If the user clicks the don't show these messages you then get these type errors.

in this case their IT guy has been working on this, but this is what I gleaned.

For some reason the below wouldn't work to revert to a known working version. Said it wasn't available.

"C:Program FilesCommon FilesMicrosoft SharedClickToRunOfficeC2RClient.exe" /update user updatetoversion=16.0.9330.2124

In the end we tried an uninstall of O365 and clean install from and old ODT download I had. for some reason this seamed to install 1808 anyway and didn't work.

In a "we will try anything" at this point, we tried a previous roll-back.

cd %programfiles%Common FilesMicrosoft SharedClickToRun

officec2rclient.exe /update user updatetoversion=16.0.7369.2130

Don't ask why, but it worked.

My best guess is find the an 1803 (16.0.9330.2124) or previous you can revert to on the machine.

The ODT is on my GDrive if you would like a link.

Pegasus support provided us with a registry change which resolved the issues with the VBSCRIPT/MSSCRIPT messages. It may be worth starting an incident with them.
