MSCM upgrade from 10.1.8.18 to 10.1.8.20

We've been working on upgrading our Dev system from 10.1.8.18 to 10.1.8.20 and we are not able to update the MC75 handheld to .20. I've tried manually updating the handheld by following the steps in the install guide and every time it still shows 10.1.8.18 on the handheld when you do an about within the MSCM application. If we try to use the "Update" button to run the auto update on the handheld we get the following message: "Version installed is more recent than on server. No update needed." When we logon to MSCM application via the URL we are on 10.1.8.20.

If we go out to the http:://xxxxxxxxxxx:8080/hh/ directory we still see 10.1.8.18 files. Shouldn't we see 10.1.8.20 files?

Has anyone else seen this issue? We are currently working with INFOR on this issue but wanted to check with the community also.

We have seen this in the past, for some reason the CAB files do not update correctly. I don't remember the reason , but your I.S. analyst should be able to get them updated.

We were able to get this resolved with INFOR support help. Basically after doing the MSCM deployment on the server it was not updating the CAB files in the HH directory and that is why we were not able to update the handheld with the new cab files.

Support had us do the following:

Uninstallmscm.bat

Undeploymscm.bat

Webspheregraft.bat

deploy.bat

Instalmscm.bat

Restart MSCM server

After already doing the re-install once the second time it updated the CAB files in the HH directory and I'm able to update MSCM on the handheld now.

We had to go "walkabout" and manually update the cab files on the devices for a previous upgrade. For some reason it didn't trigger the "Download updates" the rest of them do. Major pain.
